One thing about Holland, the winters are so cold and summers so short that there aren't many bugs. But in Mississippi, The Mosquito has a chance at becoming the state bird.
Hmm... black flies are not that big but the come by the thousands for about six weeks. We wear bug shirts ( has a net fastened to it to cover yer head) and slather bug stuff on the exposed parts.
